Richard
I think we'll be losing Harewood, Carew and Heskey in the summer. So I think we'll need at least two new strikers, possibly three. Not sure all will be 15M
o'lbs
there's no way we'd get doyle cheap unless wolves went down.

Hes not worth more than £5m IMO. Still not proven at the highest level. When a big club come calling: a) Doyle would want to go Mick McCarthy doesnt come accross as a word removed, and he would be a word removed if he priced Doyle out of a move to us. As i said, no more than £5m, 6 at a push.

OutByEaster? Posted March 23, 2010 Moderator Share Posted March 23, 2010 Wolves paid £6.5m, I can't see them wanting to take a loss. Strikers are going to be expensive in the summer and I think we'll need two. I'd think we'll go with one expensive one and one cheaper. I wouldn't mind Fletcher from Burnley or maybe the chap at Blackburn (Kalinic?) if we were able to get either for less than £7m but I've a feeling prices for strikers are likely to be a bit on the silly side. I got my figures wrong, nut you get what im getting at. £8m for a bloke whos scored 6 goals is a bit much. Bent is in a shite side and look how many hes scored.
