AVFCLaura
However, it did work. When we were together there was never a bad time, easily the best GF I've ever had. Then one day she completely out of the blue said it wasn't working and that was it. No argumets, no falling out, no trying to fix it, nothing. One minute it was rosy, next minute gone. I think she got her head turned and she claims she's always thought it was the wrong decision. I dunno, we'll just have to see what happens, I just don't want to open myself up for another let down because it was really shit last time! Oh, and my name's not Steve Ahhh that's such a shame that everything was really good prior to the breakup, must have been a hard time for you Apologies on the name ting... I did know that deep down. lol
AVFCLaura
I like this, it's like a 'General Chat' - are we allowed one of those? If so, I'll change the name of this one. EDIT: I've changed it - let me know if it's not ok.

AVFCLaura
Bad Monday. Was off work all last week, so not happy to be back. Laura - either get used to being a running widow or take up running! Another one back to work today, I feel your pain. And there's two very good reasons why I can't / don't run...

Chindie Posted November 2, 2009 VT Supporter Share Posted November 2, 2009 I've just got up. Gotta decide if going to my Propaganda lecture in a couple of hours is worth it, as he says nothing he doesn't put on the slides he uploads after the lecture anyway. chrissmith921
Yeah good weekend thanks, spent it with the boy. Was a bit of a running widdow but getting used to it (To be fair, I spent the whole day at Merry Hill, so I can't complain...) How about you? Getting back into the swing of things after the honeymoon? where is merry hill? is it that shopping centre towards wolverhampton way? back in the swing of things slowly - come back to work and its crazzzzzzzy! Aye, Brierley Hill. And yes, always the way when you get back! Got our wedding rings from there. Went to Jewellery Quarter - found it utterly over priced shit in the most part, and then went there where we found them. Me - mine is simple, hers is bastard arkward. Says it all, really. VillaEire
Back at work after a week off sick with a chest infection. I think I have come back too soon. I climbed a flight of stairs earlier and I thought I was going to choke. I couldn't catch my breath. I hate chest infections. They are so hard to shake off fully. ender4
i'm busy at work... i fired my assistant a couple of weeks ago, and so until i get a new person in, i have lots of work to do. Why did you fire her? What did she do? (Or not do as the case may be...) basically, she was really really dumb, and couldn't do the job. in HR talk, she was incapable of completing the job at the required level. Technically, we didn't fire here, we gave her a choice: 1) either voluntarily leave the company immeditiately (we'd pay her the full months salary). 2) we would terminate her in a few weeks through disciplinary, and she would have that put on her record. she decided to leave.
