Carlos Carvalhal is the new manager of Sporting CP.

His biggest achievement was in 01/02 when he took Leixões of 2ª B (Division One) to the portuguese cup final, against... Sporting. Sporting won the match 1-0. At that time Sporting had on the time João Vieira Pinto, Sá Pinto, Quaresma, Jardel, Marius Niculae, Hugo Viana, Dimas, Phil Babb, Tello...

He won also the 1st League Cup with Setubal, against Sporting CP

Sporting. But in the UK known as Sporting Lisbon, in France Sporting de Lisbonne and in Spain Sporting de Lisboa.

No big problem really.

But something I've noticed on the website of Marca, which is of course a Spanish sports paper.

Marca calls them Sporting Lissabon.

In German. Strange.
