Mat Kendrick's Dentist
Ažbe Jug, another Slovenian goalie with huge potential signs for Sporting CP How do Slovenia keep producing top keepers?! Handanovic, Oblak, and now, supposedly, this guy!

VillaChris
Yeah I've said it before...it's a shame for such a small country like Slovenia with a limited pool of players they can pick from that the top class players they do produce all play in the same position and they can only pick one. We saw Oblak's quality in the two Real Madrid games and Hadanovic has been excellent in Seria A for years now, surprised Man. United aren't looking at him as a replacement for De Gea, They have better keeper options than England.

Mister_Master
His contract ended, and he is a Sporting supporter. He didn't want to leave Portugal, because his dad is really sick. He signed for 3 years and is earning 4M€ per season.

VillaChris
Gauld is on the reserve team.Any chance of being promoted to first team squad by end of season or will he be loaned out? Saw a cup game Sporting played last season and he was their best player, scored two goals.
Mister_Master
I don't think so, The young players that Jesus promoted were 2 players that play where Gauld plays. And he isn't known for using a lot of young players.
Villaphan04
had to go a long way back but thought this was probably the thread. Especially as it entails the "big 3" teams in the Primeria Liga
