Undesirable
Whats pubs are open in town in the morning though? Bugger all at 9am i'd imagine, don't they all open at 11 on Saturdays? Cafe Rouge is open at 9am and they sell Stella at £3.50 a pint!
NulliSecundus
Doesn't the imperial chain of Wetherspoons open at 9am? Not far to snow hill from there, easily done on the tram. I personally am not bothered about drinking that early, I'll be greatful for somewhere who does a decent fry up and tea!
Mammoth10
Wetherspoons are all open for breakfasts before 9 not sure what time mind, but for those wanting to drink they start serving at 9. Briar Rose is the best bet, 3 mins walk to New St then too.

MattP
Yeah Wetherspoons (the alcoholics choice!) are open from around 8 for breakfast, and serving booze from 9am on a Saturday. I worked in Wolves for a few years, and know it quite well. There's not a huge amount of boozers in the City Centre, and those that will be open such as Moon under water, Goose in the City, Royal London are Wolves full stop. Best bet is The Briar Rose, for a Pint and fry up, then jump the train or Metro to Wolves. Avoid the subway en route to the ground!

NulliSecundus
I'm staying in Wolverhampton tomorrow night (going to a gig). Hopefully there won't be too many dingles in the Wetherspoons on Saturday morning, I'll need a fry up after tomorrow night lol.
Die_Hard
I'm starting at the Wetherspoons in Walsall at 9 then getting the bus into Wolvo. The pub is right next to the bus station, which is handy! Don't think I'll bother trying to get a drink in Wolvo

Yeah will be open, but am pretty sure that the same as last time they'll be asking to see match tickets and only allowing home fans in
