NulliSecundus
Would love to go to Vienna - I've considered going before - but just can't afford to pay that much for flights really. Ah well. Fly to Salzburg (another great city) and get the train/drive?

austrianvilla
Fly to Salzburg (another great city) and get the train/drive? Not too much drama that ... 30 mins by tram/bus in to the main train station from airport, then about 2.5/3 hours by train to Vienna (depending on stops) .. will probably cost around the 30 euro mark
FSF
The FSF are continuing to create guides for all foreign teams that English sides encounter in Europe, and we've pulled together an effort for any Villa fans who want to know a bit more about Rapid Vienna. Good for anyone who's going out there, or who just want to find out a bit more. It's being added to all the time. Check it out, anyway: http://www.fsf.org.uk/ground-guide/international-clubs/rapid-vienna/

FSF
Cheers mate, feel free to pass the links round. The more the merrier. And of course when you beat Vienna and qualify for the group stages (I have every confidence in you), we'll produce similar guides to all your opponents in the group stage, too. villagers
Tip for yous that are going but not booked yet. Fly to and stay in Bratislava, far better city, with better sights :winkold: and far far cheaper, and only about an hour away on the rattler. If there is no train back after game, club together and get a slovak cab to pick you up, wont cost much between yous all !!
Joey
For anyone who cares, there's a Vienna based radio station called FM4 that broadcasts in English a lot. Just in case there's any local news that needs to be heard.
