I'd give Delph a go I think alongside Reo-Coker or Petrov (depending on if he is fit or not). Has to be Carew and Agobonlahor up front and the rest pretty much sorts itself out unless we sign someone else before Saturday.

I'd go,

----------------Guzan---------------

Beye---Cuellar---Davies---Shorey

Albrighton--Petrov--Delph--Milner

--------------Young-----------------

------------------Carew------------

Milner, Young, Delph and possilby Albrighton could move around a bit, but don't want to see Ash on the right too much, as he's generally naff there, and would try and keep Albrighton there as much as possible, maybe shift him if he's struggling after 20 mins, but I love him attacking his man at pace and just whipping it in.

MON's team will be

----------------Friedel-----------------

Beye-----Cuellar----Davies--Shorey

Milner----Petrov----NRC-----Young

-----------Carew----Gabbo---------

Both teams should be good enough to win, I'm really hoping MON will go for Delph ahead of Nige.

The wigan fans seem to be very concerned with their defence. Bramble has had a poor preseason and Boyce next to him isn't a formidable pair. They're still adjucting to a total change in style and if they tru to attack I think it will be ours for the taking.

What i'd like to see on Saturday.

------------Friedel

Beye----Cuellar----Davies---Shorey

----------------Petrov----

Milner----------Delph--------Albrighton

-----------------Young

----------------Heskey

But more likely:

------------Friedel

Beye----Cuellar----Davies---Shorey

----------------Petrov----

Milner----------Delph--------Young

----------Heskey------Carew

i'm really surprised people are including Albrighton in the first team, Yes he'd had a great pre-season but i wouldn't go that far yet unless something is wrong with Jimmy Milner. I also don't think id' start with Delph, i think Reo-Coker deserves a shot in the first team.

Personally i'd go for:

Freidel

Beye

Cuellar

Davies

Shorey

Milner

Petrov

Reo-Coker

A.Young

Carew

Heskey.

Maybe Swap Gabby for Carew. I don't think it's the right mentality to be playing 4-5-1 at home.

For me:

-----------------Guzan-----------------

Beye----Cuellar----Davies----Shorey

Milner---Petrov-----Delph------Young

---------Gabby------Carew------------

But I'd understand if Heskey started instead of Carew. It's difficult to make that call without seeing them in training every day.
