drat01
and thats it Lex - for us a team that has struggled to even create chances its probably a decent return
avfc1982
Its pretty good for us though I guess. No not really, not considering his poor return last season.
lexicon
Well when was the last player we had that scored that many in that amount of games?
avfc1982
^^ Not sure without looking through past records, but it's hardly anything to shout about considering he cost £9.5m is it??
lexicon
This is true - but since money has changed in football, he'd be what, half that now in value? And then it doesnt seem so bad IMO. I think Phillips this season will be good in the goal to cash ratio. Angel works out as £256,756 a goal.
ahamaad
Juan has been a prolific goalscorer in two different leagues. Not in the Premiership. DOL's first season here he scored 23 goals. Why is that not prolific? We cannot afford an Henry.
bob
people are saying if Baros scores 10 this year then they will be happy. Angel scores 9 last year and all of a sudden he's shit. Amazing Expectations have become lower and more realistic after a traumatic summer. I'm a fan of Angel, but even the biggest Angel fan should admit that he was very poor last season, and he has got to improve this season I agree. ChrisVillan
Barry to continue taking the penalties until he bottles it. I don't mind him missing one or two, but if he finds himself in an Angel situation where he clearly lacks the juice to stick the ball in the net from the spot, let someone else do it. Cost us points last season it did I tell ya!
