Chindie 10,932
As I said, I don't think it's actually that worthy a film, or even that good, I just like it for some reason, despite there being a shitload wrong with it. I can see why some people would absolutely hate it. I would if the concept wasn't one I liked.

Chindie 10,932
I like Public Enemies but it's definitely not Michael Manns best film. His thing for portraying cops and criminals as 2 sides of the same coin is getting thin as well.
Rodders 5,161
I love Groundhog Day, got to introduce it to my partner the other day, the moment when he just knocks out Ned is so perfectly timed it always cracks me up
CarewsEyebrowDesigner 11,182
I prefered Public Enemies to Heat, I though the set design was unreal...well it was incredibly immersive. Brilliantly made film IMO. Heat just bored me. Miami Vice put me to sleep aswell. Collateral is probably my favourite Mann film after Public Enemies, another film which he actually immerses you in the landscape perfectly.

briggaman 42
I enjoyed this film. The story itself was quite repetitive at times, however I enjoyed it overall. Good action sequences and some of the settings look great. The story itself is rather interesting too.
