The_Rev Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Thats called home advantage. Its existed since, well, since ever.
Laursen1977 Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 ref gives all the descisions to wales. That's because England have no discipline.
KAZZAM Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 ref gives all the descisions to wales. That's because England have no discipline. nope ref yet again another howler given wales a penalty.
KAZZAM Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 imo england would be winnen if it wasnt for the shocking ref.
fran_villa Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 this is a feckin great game, should have scored their england
Gringo Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 imo england would be winnen if it wasnt for the shocking ref.Ive got money on ingerland and fail to see much wrong with the ref. Maybe Nick can help me out ther and point out the howlers.
Gringo Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Ingerland have to keep the ball running - need to move it faster and try to hit wide. Not get bogged down in the game wales want them to play.
nrogers Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Sorry Grings, not watching it live, but will watch the replay, and let you know, the commentators here think he is have a mare, and giving everything to the leek munchers..

Gringo Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Damn Nick - when you're needed you can't deliver. Similar like the ingerlish forwards at the moment.
KAZZAM Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 wales player shoulda been binned twice now 2 wales shoulda been binned the tackle on armitage in mid air shoulda been binned and now ryan jones slowing the ball down shoulda been binned shocking refeering
nrogers Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 More time wasting shit from the taffy rocket polishers... so much for a 40 point margin.... clearly from the commentry, someone has paid the ref... Kaplan according to Kiwi commentators has been a disgrace!
KAZZAM Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 england go down 23-15 to wales shocking refeering cost us the game-2 sin bins for us none for them, soft penaltys made up wales point tally +1 try. We(england) scored 2 trys 1 drop goal and 1 conversion wales didnt offer much and they were at home vs apperently a shit england team, who were still alot better than wales bad bad bad refeering, one thing we can take out from this is that we can play well and win with moderate refeering in the future.

As for the welsh defence, it's easy when you continually stand off side at the breakdown and get away with it... We need a kicker too as by missing 2 penalties and a conversion we'd have levelled the match even with the biased ref
RunRickyRun Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Thought Andy Goode was having a good game. Don't know why he was replaced by the always ineffective Flood. All Flood seems to do is find the opposition backs with every kick. 11 fouls and 2 yellow cards is really a joke and probably ruined any chance England had Oh, and the Beeb was very poor today. Several times, they cut away from rucks and went to strange angles or long shots of the stadium, missing two or three turnovers in the process.
dont_do_it_doug. Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Thought it was a really good game. England gave a good account of themselves Worsley was immense. England's best player I reckon, shocked he wasn't picked in the first place but I have no clue on his club form.
walesavfc Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Have to agree with everything about the officials thats been said, it WAS shocking, and can only come because ref was looking for it with all the crap in the papers this week. thats the best i seen England for a few years, but does it matter ?, they allways seem to be ready come world cup year let Wales have thier world cup England will be ready in 2011
