He needs someone that can really challenge him and put him up to a real test. We dont need another squadmember because we have Cahill, Ridgewell and Hughes that can play as CB... We surely need competition for Samuel so he picks himself up and produce what we know he can produce. It is sad to see him only going 50% of his real talent. The same goes to Barry that I really think only uses around 70% of his capacity. McCann on the other hand...I dont think he can get any better...as for Hendrie. They has reached their peaks and they doesnt really be in a class that gives anyone hopes for Europe. I would love to see DOL trying to get someone else in that really can challenge McCann...and soon we see McCann returning to Sunderland. I´m very disappointed by his contribution to the Villa midfield. We must have better players in that region...or we will never get above 10th place. To dream about Europe is quite stupid if comparing to other teams that compete with us for top 6 place. Just look at Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool and Tottenham. We wont get above them this year if we dont improve massive...and Middlesbrough, Charlton, Bolton is almost above us. Newcastle has a bad manager and that holds them down. Man City has an unproven manager and that is going to show this season. Everton will have a good year, but will not reach Europe again because they dont have the same luck as last year with injuries and they cant cope with the programme for Premier and CL...
