Wouldn’t have him at Villa if we got him for free.

Neymar is a cancer. He could have all the talent in the world but he is horrible human being

Atletico are disciplining Griezmann as he failed to turn up for pre-season. This comes after Atletico hammered Barca for publicly tapping him up which Barca hilariously stated they dont tap up players.

It looks like Barca are being forced into signing a player they probably dont need to save face

Seen a few pre season games from different Premier League teams this summer and they all seem competitive.

Most teams are playing to win even if it's friendlies.

Friendlies are for match fitness and you cant judge them as teams are in different stages.

Forest 1st game is next weekend, Sociedad is 23rd August

Sociedad were resting a lot of players

Isak and Ödegaard for example only played like 30 mins

Friendlies are friendlies (apart from Costa) Their season is still 3 weeks away.

Yes fitness is the main purpose, but the games are still competitive.

They're literally not though.

Pre-Season results mean more or less nothing.

Hazard has always been a bit chunky, by professional footballer standards at least. I’ve still got a feeling he’ll be Real Madrid’s best player next season.

You're right but that doesn't mean that players go out on the pitch to lose.

As a footballer you try to win the game no matter the occasion. If not for the game alone, you try to impress you're coaching staff to get yourself into the starting lineup for the upcoming season.

I think that totally depends on the footballer, the team, the scenario etc

It's quite clear to anyone that's ever watched a pre season game that they're not as competitive as an actual competitive fixture. Yes the teams try to win, on the most part, but I doubt they particularly care if they lose either.

Not to mention they might be experimenting, or trying players out or resting other players etc etc

There are a plethora (tee'd it up) of reasons as to why pre-season results mean **** all.
