Mr Championship starting…RIP. What a disaster signing letting Diaby go and replacing with someone who’s genuinely worse than what we had a few years ago in el ghazi.

It’s his last chance in my mind to show he’s remotely capable

Too early to be writing him off IMO. He has played 204 minutes in the premier league this season and Chelsea away is hardly going to be easy. I agree I would like to see him show us something from an attacking perspective though and he hopefully will in time.

We are a CL team now thought mate. Gone are the days we could afford to carry players. They have to be on it every game.

Scenes when Philogene scores a worldie

It’s a symbiotic relationship between player and fan. The fans will support if he can provide a glimmer of hope that he’ll come good. It’s not about blind faith.

The longer it goes on for him without being able to beat a man, set up a goal, score a goal or just in general mark himself on the team the less and less the fans believe.

Generous. He can't control or pass, looks lazy and disinterested

That wouldn't surprise me because that's the type of player he is. He has the odd special moment in his locker, it's the football IQ that's the concern.

I don’t think he’s lazy. I think he’s wilting under the weight of the shirt…it didn’t happen early doors and now it’s a massive monkey on his back.

Let’s, you know, maybe get behind the team instead. UTV.

Yeah you’re right. When the guys are doing their weekly prematch “check villatalk” activity, we wouldn’t want them getting demoralised.
