Dublin in late January - suggestions?

Hello all, I believe this is my first topic on here. Long time lurker, occasional poster.

I turn 69 in January, and I asked my partner: "where do you want to go to celebrate?" Her answer: "Dublin!". We've spent a lot of time in England over the years - but now I need suggestions.

Arriving on the evening of Thursday 16th, leaving on Sunday 19th in the afternoon. Two full days in Dublin.

Now, I'm a simple man Good beer or ale, a visit to a museum, some good live music, a boat trip on the river, some photoshoot moments...

BUT: she is into shopping (aren't they all?), local shows, musicals, good restaurants... Any advice or suggestions will be most welcome!
