Fair to say this is a must win just for the mentality of our season going forward.

Can't see us winning this 2 or 3 nil, will be a more scrappy 1-0 or 2-1 win I think.

Palace started a player yesterday who I'd never heard of and also had to push Guehi into midfield due to lack of options. Also started Clyne who I thought had left them.

Not sure if Eze or Wharton will be ready in two weeks but we have to be beating them, no excuses.

I think it's a must win purely because if you don't win 10-11 home games at least you're not getting top 4 or even 5th.

If we don't beat Palace it's just 2 home wins from 6 so really puts pressure on us then to reel off 5-6 straight wins at VP at some stage. Or beating some of Man. City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs etc at VP.

Last season our home run up to that Sheffield United game pretty much got us top 4, it was nine straight home wins wasn't it? That sort of run allows you to drop away points fairly regularly.

A draw would be an abysmal result. We haven't won since Fulham.

Think they’re as likely to get Eze/Wharton back and turn their season around, as we are to turn ours around

Wharton had groin surgery didn't he so not sure you can get back in 2-3 weeks.

Eze back will be more complicated, would love us to sign him as he'd be perfect in an Emery team drifting in from the left. He's basically their Grealish.

Need to do better than the league cup game when our second XI did nothing for 90 minutes beyond a training ground exercise. People may say well it is only the league cup but it didn't exactly scream winning mentality or competition for places.

Hopefully Cash is back fit for this one as Carlos at CB and Konsa at RB just isn’t working.

On another note, I hate international breaks. Why are there so many? What a waste of time!

I think we need this international break.

Need this to get back on track

spurs play city and arsenal play Forrest which means a win for us and we likely go up 2 spots, make the table look a bit better.

current forecast after 11 games is 62 points for us, we got fourth with 68. Still in reach.

Need to win our next 3 home games.

It's a toss up who plays right mid/wing as everyone has been pretty poor.

                          Martinez

Cash         Konsa          Torres          Maatsen

Bailey       Kamara         Onana         Rogers

                 Tielemans    Watkins

I would give Philogene a run of games, he needs it to get his confidence up. Barley needs to be benched. I really think Philogene will come could if he he can get his confidence up

May as well stick you on the wing

It’s a bit early for this but I’ll give it a go. Cash will hopefully be fit and needs to come back in. I honestly can’t see Kamara and/or Ramsey being fit to the start this game but hopefully one or both will make the bench. I think McGinn or Rogers will now start on the left, which means a lack of width and beating a fullback, so Maatsen comes in to assist with this:

                              Martinez

       Cash      Konsa       Pau       Maatsen

                   Onana          Tielemans

           Bailey                         McGinn

                               Rogers

                              Watkins

Subs:  Olsen, Digne, Carlos, Mings, Barkley, Philogene, Buendia, Ramsey, Duran

Hopefully we come back firing and get a convincing victory. Could be nervy at times but I think we’ll do it.  2-0 win UTV

The way he baited the Holte End after scoring in the Carabao cup, I though he was a blue nose. The last time I saw that behaviour it was Troy Deeney.

Karma caught up with him when he limped off a few minutes later but after his reaction I hope he plays and we smash them.

I think we'll be back to winning ways this weekend. Palace are no great shakes and we've no excuses not to put them to bed.  They beat a second string Villa 2 weeks ago. We then lost away to Spurs and Liverpool and an away CL tie. A bad run, yes, but given the opposition, hardly a complete catastrophe. Our standards are higher now, so defeats will be more keenly felt. But 3pts here and things will start to look up again.

Get it done lads.
