Liverpool where all the poor streets smell of rubbish. You know that riot on county road where the library was set on fire, you know those metal bins they were rolling down the street on fire... yep those bins

Whaaat? Not sure if serious. Six WEEKS??? In bags? That would be one huge stinking pile of rat-infested garbage, surely? Where do you live?
The Fun Factory Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 Orange Wednesdays when it was half-price cinema tickets before it got replaced by talking mercats. Sometimes the future isn't bright. 1

Same for fly tipping on the way to the tip from people turned away from the tip because they didn't have their council tax bills with them to show the bin nazi's on the gate. . Err, Rats in a coastal city? Public health issue? nah, do what you're told or else mixed with not my problem mate. funnily enough it wasn't where the coucillors live and they got a bit uppity if you suggested witholding the proportion of the tax for the job they didn't bother doing. Months of it piled up outside property on Newport Road at one point. I've told the story before on here somewhere where I decided to go outside my house and tell the bin men to stop shouting at my lovely elderly neighbour (Whose husband had not long died fwiw) because she had the temerity to ask them to take her rubbish away that was outside her house and that they'd left the previous collection time. They were telling her it was in the wrong bag so no and it simply wasn't, she didn't want a wheelie bin so she used the special white bags as per the rules but no some jobsworth doing the bidding of the council thinks shouting and screaming at old ladies who've paid their taxes all their lives is a worthwhile endeavour. twunts. 2
choffer Posted November 11, 2024 VT Supporter Posted November 11, 2024 My pair of orange Kyrie's. No idea about the bins. All I know is that it's not often enough. Bin store at my block is a shambles.
_AA_786 Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 Orange Fanta but specifically when from a bottle abroad. It just seems to taste sweeter and 'orangier' if that makes sense? Put out Thursday night and collected Friday morning

ferguson1 Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 I’ve always had some weird fascination with the Dutch national football team supporters and that wall of orange sight from the stands, especially during tournament football. It’s some spectacle. The Dutch national football shirt over the years is also so iconic. Much closer to home, I can’t resist a bag of Cheetos Crunchy all to myself. Bloody lovely things. 1
