Genie Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Tamworth versus Huddersfield live on BBC2 should be good fun. The place must be absolutely rammed, I’ve been to games with 2000 odd and it’s very full. Over 4,000 will be there later. The artificial pitch should be a sort of leveller. 1
Genie Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Tamworth have a player called Tom Tonks who has a throw in that rivals Rory Delap. I’m sure we’ll be seeing that at some point.

sne Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Viktor Gyökeres with a first half hattrick. He has 15 in 10 so far in the league. Or in 9 and a half.
VillaChris Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Tamworth could genuinely do this, Huddersfield barely threatened at all bar the odd corner. Made 100k + from this round so a win and another league one team in next round pretty much secures their future for the next decade. Amazing what Andy Peaks gets out of them considering they're still part time which is a rarity in the National league. Good to see some positive coverage of the town after a difficult summer. 4
Brumstopdogs Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Cracking result for Tamworth - @Genieyou must be pleased? 1

markavfc40 Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Fair play to Tamworth they deserved it. Huddersfield didn't lay a glove on them. 1

Majority of the fans are DVB’s" Great to see Tamworth win - that is what the cup is about and hopefully you get a good draw in the next round 1
