Anyone go there for the everton game? I saw on social media it was super busy...were there still food/drink outlets available outside of this thing or was everything now contained inside?

Yeah was rammed, Was half full after the game so will be handy to utilise till the road closures are lifted and Uber prices come down with less demand.

The food vendors have also relocated closer to the new bar from there original behind the wall position.

The old bar has been relocated to the Holte End car park with other street food vendors parallel with The Witton Road wall.

The old stage that was in the corner of the Trinity fan zone has been taken down and that space was still empty, Shame really as enjoyed the live bands and former players Q&A sessions they did.

Maybe one for @OutByEaster? for the FAB if any plans to relocate the old stage and pre-match entertainment or if they have any plans for that large empty space?.. Maybe earmarked for another temporary structure for more Hospitality?

How do the fan zones work then?

I've always been a get to the game and get out guy but I'd like to take my 20 month old before a game just to sample the atmosphere and crowds.

I went to the bar outside the Holte on Saturday. The Brooklyn lager was amazing, had a few in the lovely sunshine before the game.

Absolutely Nothing apart from the bar on the back wall and a few TV's.

It's all open plan space to get more people in, No chairs or tables, just a few painted oil drums scattered about and the same upstairs but an outside option.

Yes, it's brilliant.  It's now kind of my favourite part of the Villa matchday experience.

Before i would eat and drink in Bham City centre and head to the ground a little before kick-off. Now i'm happy to come a couple of hours early, have a few drinks in the fan zone, maybe a burger.

From Heck's viewpoint, between the 5 of us coming, he's getting an extra £100 per matchday from us.

It's a place for people to come and have a few drinks, eat some food, and chill with their mates before (and after) the game. Also, watch a bit of Sky Sports and other matches whilst drinking.

It means we spent money at Villa Park rather than a different venue that doesn't belong to Aston Villa.

The one-way stairs were funny, after a couple of drinks, i kept using the wrong stairs to go up and down.  Not sure why i went up and down a few times whilst i was in there!  I'm sure i'll get the hang of it by next match.

Depends if you like buying overpriced shite beer to be drunk from a plastic cup or not.
