Which?

Anonymous and multiple choice.*

All these pods are currently accessible online, most are active. All are Villa-centric. Some aren't being newly updated but still have nice archives. Some are more closely connected to organisations than others, some seem a bit fly-by-night, etc.

Let me just say that I have a lot of respect for anyone who does a podcast. They're easy to begin, but very hard to consistently update with quality content, and I admire anyone who has a go at it.

Use Other and name it if I've missed a big one, please!

I've kept this poll anonymous so people can be candid.

* All kinds of reader-bewares here, but I tried to apply common sense (many of you know I don't have much of that to spare!) and inclusivity in working out various dilemmas that go along with podcast rankings in deciding what to list. Personally, I probably care less about the ranking myself and more interested in just hearing about people's Villa podcast-listening experiences. It's tricky with YouTube "Podcasts" because then you get into issues with the definition of a podcast. All the ones on here are pods I was able to find on common podcast apps. They're audio-based, generally, or they offer audio files on pod apps.

My favourite is the avillafan.com Podcast (it's actually an X/Twitter Space but posted on Spotify etc afterwards) as it's a phone-in style, better variety in my opinion!

That's the one officially titled "Aston Villa Fans Live." I will see if I can adjust the poll choice for you.

Already a thread for this I think?

The Villa Podcast by a mile.

I looked and didn't see one -- certainly not one as comprehensive and up-to-date as a poll. 😎 It's a topic that deserves at least bi-annual refresh, IMO.

No favourite, but regularly listen to:

UTV, FTLOPM, 1874 and increasingly All Villa No Filler

Credit to Luke Robinson, I really enjoy his take and he goes to a lot of trouble and detail.

Love All Villa No Filler for the sheer enthusiasm after a win.  Give me that Villa win high all over again.

@Marka Ragnos There’s an existing/similar thread so I guess this one could be merged with it.

Only very topically related, imo, and would be weird to merge. As you say, this is a poll.

What happened to the villa view

Read the poll choices, mate. 😉

I know For The Love Of ... is Ireland-based,  but are any America-based? I would really appreciate that and feel like it would help our brand a bit over here where I live as it's just a very different experience. May be an opportunity for someone enterprising. (No disrespect, but I don't care about parking or train transport or best pubs or post-match curry, etc. and want to hear about Villa from a global perspective a bit more). I listen to Claret & Blue. I think it's a sponsored pod run by the Mirror Group, so they have a bit of an advantage, but I love how young those lads are and that John Townley is a working Villa journo who so obviously tries to do a good job. Dan is sweet. Good rapport there.

Bring back the Villa Talks podcast! I used to really enjoy their match previews. Overall I'd say The Villa Podcast is most entertaining regardless of the result. All Villa No Filler is also consistently good too.

The Holy Trinity is Canada based. I feel its not everyones cup of tea, but I watch it and I think Pete has some interesting (and grounded) takes.

Holy trinity. He’s articulate and provides insightful analysis of the game. He’s clearly from a presenting background. I learn stuff watching this.

Really like the guy Omar for the same reasons; articulate and insightful.

i used to like the villa view but went off the presenter after  that cringy episode which he claimed not to be a fan channel  anymore but instead a serious journalist account thereby inferring others are inferior to him

I listen to about 6-7 different ones, so thanks to all the Villa content creators 🙏

MOMS and Holy Trinity are by far the best produced so they deserve a special mention.  UTV, FTLOPG, C&B, AVNF - are also on my playlist.

I really like Bardell (1874) but there is just a lack of chemistry with his guests. It would work better if he played the pundit and got someone else to host it.
