I love starting threads that bomb but I do think it important to chat about health issues that might actually turn out to be serious. Too many beers and I get the rhoids, but if you get them without the beers then you should definitely get them checked out.

Are these doctors reputable? Do they do laser surgery?

Sorry, whenever I hear the H-word I think of the Jerky Boys 🤣

Might have to explain that for us here in Jollye Olde ;)

Really really stupid but often hilarious group who made & recorded prank calls. Based out of NYC and had the brash, in-your-face attitude so common in the 🇺🇸 northeast. They released CDs and there was even a movie, which I never saw (bridge too far 🤣). I don’t think there is anything in this clip that will get me in trouble 🤞

I worked in Austin with a bunch of guys who were always quoting Jerky Boys, and my fond memories are more of those good friends than the Jerky Boys’ material itself

The applicator there is for internal hemorrhoids.

@limpid can we set up a health diagnosis thread where we can advise and tell people what they need to do regarding health matters? Doctors and hospitals short staffed we may be able to help. What you think ?

Is there a full diagnosis in there though ?

A good friend of mine had anal cancer. She's in remission now, but it was very scary for her. Another much older friend of mine died of anal cancer a few years, sadly.

Yeah, bowel cancer seems incredibly common now, especially in the young-ish.

I feel I've got enough going on down there to at least warrant a check to hopefully put my mind at ease.

In an IBS group on FB, for shits and giggles.

They chat Crohn's and various bowel and arse issues.

It has comedy value, it's true.

It's also demonstrates how wrong America is on healthcare and nutrition.

Not shitting for over a week sounds eyewatering enough. Then they tell you the costs of getting it sorted.

5 figure sums in many cases.

We've had our NHS run into the ground by very, very stupid voters.
