tommytenjobs Posted July 14 Posted July 14 With Luiz now gone but maybe some major signings not yet in.....who's on the pens for next season? Martinez to out psych everyone? Mcginn as captain role? Ollie been practicing all summer with Cole and Ivan? Mu moneys on the latter; but what's does everyone else think?
CVByrne Posted July 14 Posted July 14 McGinn was the backup for Luiz last season. So assume he'll take them unless someone new is better
StewieGriffin Posted July 14 Posted July 14 Tielemans would be my guess. I'm more concerned with right footed corners and free-kicks than penalties 1
Tomaszk Posted July 14 Posted July 14 Watkins will want them. I'll think he'll get them. When he misses one of his first two it'll go to Barkley or Tielemans. 1

Watkins would be a bad choice. I would guess tielemans, or someone else who proves themselves as a good pen taker in pre season training I remember emery saying he selected Luiz as the pen taker based on statistical data from pre season training last summer 2

DJBOB Posted July 14 Posted July 14 Youri if he’s on the pitch. Has an already good record and reliable technique. 1
ozvillafan Posted July 14 VT Supporter Posted July 14 What's on penalties. Who's on free kicks. I dunno - corners. 1

Watkins would be a really bad choice. He has never looked comfortable taking them. You need someone who is gonna bury it into the net, not row Z I would go full house and give them Martinez never gonna happen but to see him thusting at the opposition keeper as he smashed it in would be a joy to behold
Popular Post Ponky Posted July 14 Popular Post Posted July 14 Not the French guys. They're not so keen on Le Pen anymore. 1 5
Pongo Waring Posted July 14 Posted July 14 Sir Ollie Watkins for me too. Sure he's been practicing them
Tayls Posted July 14 Posted July 14 Watkins needs to step and become a master, sorta like Kane in a way. Take that responsibility with both hands. 1

We'll need 2 or 3 anyway, I'm sure Ollie will be one
Pongo Waring Posted July 14 Posted July 14 If Sir Ollie is on pens he becomes a must have for everyone on FPL 1
