Just seen this is now free to season ticket holders along with free admission to U21 games at BMH

Presumably they will put the pre- season friendly games in a standalone package as previous seasons but not seen any prices yet?..

They should show the u18 games too

Yeah that comes included in Villa TV but I presume we will have to pay separately for the friendlies package?

The entrance to U21 games at Bodymoor Heath has always been free to ST holders.

The club won't generally show U18 games because, well, those are kids and there's a duty of care to protect them from the pressures that come with a football fanbase.

The package itself is quite good, not just the U21 games, but the access to full 90 minute replays of home games and so on - I think it's a nice addition to the ST package.

I have a feeling the pre-season will be a separate payment.

Swines, Pretty sure they charged me a few seasons back when we played WBA I think

Only 6 quid for a pair but still if it should of been free?..

Probably a cup game - those aren't free.

just had email about my VillaTV+ subscription - looks like it's gone up from £20 to £25 a year but now includes all preseason games too, which seems good. Originally subscribed to get the full 90 the day after a game but can't see a commitment to that in the email, so I guess that's where the price hike is coming from

No more full90 replays?....will be cancelling my subscription then.

I'm a little confused at to what the product is now with the promise that VillaTV would be free to season ticket holders. I'm wondering what the difference is between VillaTV and VillaTV+ and whether what's actually included in the season ticket is what I was expecting.

As a renewed season ticket holder, I wasn't expecting to receive an email telling me the price of renewing a service that I've also been told will now be free with my season ticket.

Anyone understand it better than me?

How many non season ticket holders will be subscribing?

You kind of have to if you want to watch these pre season games.

Did they improve the service at all? Because it was crap before, not even worth the day pass.

I think Villa TV+ is the name they have given to the package that you either pay for or get free with your season ticket. It still includes 90 minute replays of all matches the day after the game plus home reserve matches etc.

Villa TV (without the +) is the free access part that shows highlights and occasional interviews, training etc.

As usual the communication has been rubbish.

The communication is so poor that we even manage to alienate customers when we're giving them something for nothing.

AVTV is actually a really good service, loads of content, the opportunity to watch and re-watch games, the U21's interviews, all sorts of great stuff - I think it's brilliant that every season ticket holder will get access.

I just bought this for £25. Normally I would watch the pre season games on IPTV, but they've priced it well this year which just makes you buy it.
Well done Heck.

How do you watch this.  Is it only available by logging onto the website online?

It's a bit confusing as even if you have a season ticket it's still giving you the option to purchase a subscription. However if you click on Villa Tv it says video purchased, Available soon.

I have the £24.99 package and it still says I can buy it again, never miss a chance to be confusing on that site do they! I still have a week left on the £1.99 monthly I was paying but thought I’d bite the bullet. It’s a good value service when it works.
