Kingman Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Just seen this is now free to season ticket holders along with free admission to U21 games at BMH Presumably they will put the pre- season friendly games in a standalone package as previous seasons but not seen any prices yet?..

OutByEaster? Posted June 21 Moderator Posted June 21 The entrance to U21 games at Bodymoor Heath has always been free to ST holders. The club won't generally show U18 games because, well, those are kids and there's a duty of care to protect them from the pressures that come with a football fanbase. The package itself is quite good, not just the U21 games, but the access to full 90 minute replays of home games and so on - I think it's a nice addition to the ST package. I have a feeling the pre-season will be a separate payment.

numbersix Posted June 27 Posted June 27 just had email about my VillaTV+ subscription - looks like it's gone up from £20 to £25 a year but now includes all preseason games too, which seems good. Originally subscribed to get the full 90 the day after a game but can't see a commitment to that in the email, so I guess that's where the price hike is coming from 1

OutByEaster? Posted June 28 Moderator Posted June 28 I'm a little confused at to what the product is now with the promise that VillaTV would be free to season ticket holders. I'm wondering what the difference is between VillaTV and VillaTV+ and whether what's actually included in the season ticket is what I was expecting. As a renewed season ticket holder, I wasn't expecting to receive an email telling me the price of renewing a service that I've also been told will now be free with my season ticket. Anyone understand it better than me?
Villa Gaffa Posted July 17 Posted July 17 How many non season ticket holders will be subscribing? You kind of have to if you want to watch these pre season games.

Kingman Posted July 17 Author Posted July 17 Been posted elsewhere but probably best in here. Villa TV is now linked to All ST Holders accounts, You should see the symbol with the message - Video Purchased Available Soon and a countdown timer to kick off this evening 2
mallett Posted July 17 Posted July 17 I think Villa TV+ is the name they have given to the package that you either pay for or get free with your season ticket. It still includes 90 minute replays of all matches the day after the game plus home reserve matches etc. Villa TV (without the +) is the free access part that shows highlights and occasional interviews, training etc. As usual the communication has been rubbish. 3
OutByEaster? Posted July 17 Moderator Posted July 17 The communication is so poor that we even manage to alienate customers when we're giving them something for nothing. AVTV is actually a really good service, loads of content, the opportunity to watch and re-watch games, the U21's interviews, all sorts of great stuff - I think it's brilliant that every season ticket holder will get access. 3
Pongo Waring Posted July 17 Posted July 17 I just bought this for £25. Normally I would watch the pre season games on IPTV, but they've priced it well this year which just makes you buy it. Well done Heck. 1
sidcow Posted July 17 VT Supporter Posted July 17 How do you watch this. Is it only available by logging onto the website online?
Vive_La_Villa Posted July 17 Posted July 17 It's a bit confusing as even if you have a season ticket it's still giving you the option to purchase a subscription. However if you click on Villa Tv it says video purchased, Available soon.
UnaiTheVillan84 Posted July 17 Posted July 17 I have the £24.99 package and it still says I can buy it again, never miss a chance to be confusing on that site do they! I still have a week left on the £1.99 monthly I was paying but thought I’d bite the bullet. It’s a good value service when it works.
villabromsgrove Posted July 17 Posted July 17 Forgive my ignorance as a technophobe, but can you watch Villa TV on a TV screen or only on a phone or laptop?
