Watched his Under the Cosh interview recently and seemed a good guy with some funny stories. Think they were even trying to bring him back. Was a good player very underrated

What a terrible day so far 😞

Horrible news. A great striker of his era and a very likeable personality in the media. Deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Seemed like a really decent man too.

Very good striker on his day, strong, athletic before the English league became full of them, and he could finish.

I remember him more at everton towards the latter stages of his career, but he was an absolute handful then.

RIP Kev 😔

Bloody good player (League winner, England international) but always struck me as a good bloke too.  One of those players nobody really had a bad word to say about.

As others have said a really good player but more than that everyone who knew him describes him as a really top bloke. RIP.

One of those players who genuinely looked grateful for the gift he had been given.

Streets will never forget when he went to Everton mid season and scored every week. Proper old school striker, just speed , strength, aggression and a nose for a goal.
