I really hope that Southampton win this. I can’t think of anything that I like about Leeds. If they don’t go up this season, it could be years before we have to stomach them in the PL again. Come on Saints.

This is why I want Southampton to win. We know what a Daniel Farke defence is in the PL. We know that the likes of Meslier and Firpo aren't good enough, and that the style of play won't save them. Russell Martin is at least a different element.

For all the stick Meslier is getting I bet if Leeds don't come up they will sell him for a big fee and it will be a reasonable sized club that comes in for him. He's actually had a very good season as a young keeper, and was highly rated beforehand

Didn't anyone come in for him last summer? Never seen the hype with him as he lets in too many from saveable low shots over a season.

the quality on show here, isnt a million miles above the league 1 playoff final.

Got about 10 out on loan so probably 5-6 will become permanents.

I'm not saying I partiularly rate Meslier personally but he seems to rated in the game generally and by most accounts has had a very season for Leeds this year. He was being linked to Chelsea a lot in the summer, but never happened, of course if he does go to a big club as linked, it won't be as No.1

the prob is, Soton are playing the super defensive style like a club fighting to preserve a lead in the last 5 mins of the game, but there is 30 mins left (inc time added on - prob).
