It's explained in his post, we now need to beat Brighton rather than draw.

Doesn’t matter. It’s not going to cost us Europe though. A deafest might have. It’s in our hands  now, whereas it wasn’t at half 12 this morning.

Gutted we're not currently sat in 6th, 2 points above Brighton, but that merely demonstrates our shocking transformation inside one season. Think we'll put a Newcastle-type performance for final game. European football under the lights at VP again next season? Yes please!

Emery a master at work. The organisation and game plan away at anfield was spot on, yes we got deep for the last 25 of normal time but that was Liverpool going full tilt at us and we came so close to seeing it out. I think games like this show that a bit more quality and depth in the squad and next season could be massive for us

After that performance especially first half we have shown whatever happens next week next season we’re going to be challenging for Top 4.

Don Unai is the real special one.

I love a good Unai defensive shithouse masterclass but didn't particularly agree with the idea of the back 6 and give up all play for the final 30 odd minutes. We had the upper hand on Liverpool but then just invited them on at every opportunity and felt likely they'd break through at some point.

Still though, a big point and puts us in position to do the job next week.

Probably fair to surmise that 'Referee' performance extends to all officials

It's a never ending surprise that people don't read the words in the poll

What a team performance. Was a hard watch at the end mind.

Huge game next week. Hope the injuries aren't too serious.

Would’ve been chuffed with a point pre kick off and that’s how I feel now. Just need to beat Brighton or better Spurs result against Leedzzz and it’s pack the passport o’clock! 🤞
