Always great to win in second gear. We look far more composed on the ball. Palace are a horrid team and we did well to win against a team we often struggle to pick up points against.

Solid performance all around.  Palace never looked like they would score, apart from that Zaha offside goal early in the match.  We played some very lovely stuff at times and the 1-0 scoreline really didn't paint an accurate picture of the game.

MOM - McGinn - Could have scored 2 goals today and was everywhere in the midfield.  Very good performance from him today.

The ref was awful again today...  Palace got away with kicking our players until Kamara went off injured before he remembered he could actually start carding them.  Pathetic performance.  I hope Kamara is alright and won't miss too many games because of this.  

Overall, another 3 points and another clean sheet.  If McGrath is God, then Emery is starting to become Jesus.

We are safe already.  No way that five of West Ham, Everton, Forest, Leeds, Bournemouth, Everton and Southampton are getting to 35 points this season.  They are all averaging less than 1 point per game and if anything getting worse.

Good win, not flashy but that's very much how it's been under Unai. That Palace side is full of myth players. Eze, Olise and Zaha are garbo. 

We're stuck in 11th forever though.

Palace posed no danger all game. Well managed by us. I think Emery wanted to keep it tight to get some results going at home

Best thing.  Defense looked solid and composed and put up a clean sheet.

Worst thing.  Kamara, it's clearly sprained by a dirty foul that should have seen straight red.  I hope its first or second degree, but his reaction seemed like second or third degree sprain more likely.

Other things to note.  Moreno looked a beast attacking on the left.  I wonder if we could play Digne at LB and Moreno in front of him?
