Why is Leicester a Category A game?

Adult tickets in Trinity £49-56!

I agree, a bizarre decision, even Wolves (which I held similar beliefs in regards to that being a Category A game too) probably made a tiny bit more sense to someone other than myself and the majority of fans as it's a West Midlands derby but I can't fathom how they've decided Leicester is.

Seems it's just a club tactic now with anyone within 30-40 miles of us. Probably Forest will be in that category aswell.

When you have 30k + season ticket holders you can afford to gamble a bit with matchday prices from club POV.

I know mate, what all clubs (not just Villa) don't realise is that because we have fantastic support or that we're in the Premier League not the Championship anymore it doesn't mean we have richer fans but I appreciate that's not how it works!

Out of interest, does anyone know how many of our fixtures this season have been category A?

I have a feeling they try and split it equally every season - so 9/10 Category A and 9/10 Category B.

Cat A would be the Sky 6, Wolves, Leicester (for some reason), Newcastle? (for our fake rivalry), Nottingham Forest? (similar to Leicester a Midlands team).

Looks like there are 8 category A games across the season:

Man City, Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool, Wolves, Leicester, Arsenal and Spurs.

Of those we've played 5 of the category A games so far and have 3 left which are Leicester, Arsenal and Spurs.

Nah still a handful of tickets available on the site, must be returns I guess

They are mate, when a ST holder etc sells their seat it pops back up so always worth checking regularly for sold out games to see if there have been any returns!
