delboy54 Posted December 7, 2022 Share Posted December 7, 2022 I did not see any of the Spain game, I am so happy.....I have to say, I know that keeping the ball stops the opposition from having it and potentially scoring but this obsession of tippy tappy passing the ball to each other from side to side then back to the defence drives me nuts. Give me a higher tempo with insightful defence splitting passes and a willingness to actually run at the opposition in a forward direction and attack and win a game by playing football any time, rather than a borefest of tikky takky bo$$ocks....... I also know that man c$ty do it and win everything but it is so boring to watch. Spain had something like over 1000 passes and one shot on target in 120 mins of their game against Morroco....dear lord... watching paint dry or boiling water is far more exciting. He dives around a bit like every other footballer in the world but apart from that I don't really get it.
