We are an interesting watch these days, that's for sure. Today seemed to be bend, don't break, then kill. We were frustrating at times but got away with it. Coming back to win away from home is not often done, and certainly not by us, so that's a huge 3 points and now we're 3 off Brighton in 7th. Happiness.

A full month of proper coaching, most of the players still here too. Liverpool are gonna have a tough one on Boxing Day

Almost a shame to have a long break now when we’re suddenly brilliant. Hopefully it’s a lot more than just a bounce though.

And no sign of ”mental weakness” today. Is it possible our players are actually a mentally sound bunch? I’d say so.

Absolutely delighted to have the pre-game words shoved down my throat! I genuinely thought we would lose that quite badly today when I saw the patched up side and the fact Brighton were playing really well.

First off special mention to Mcginn and Young in that last 20..played exceptionally intelligent the pair of them, not a fan of mcginn playing these days but he played a huge part today which can be overlooked, Ings before he got his second goal I remember saying he is playing superb he was tracking back winning the ball and playing smart.

Konsa was solid today and i could give him MOTM quite easily but it has to go to Danny Ings not just the goals but his all around play today. I am so over the moon with that win and tactical display its HUGE brighton are a very good team which the table shows… UNAI EMERY take a bow sir 🫡 and we go again BOXING DAY!

There has to be a reason why Smith, Gerrard and now our current manager feel McGinn is worthy of a place in the starting 11, he is the personfication of a team player. No frills, a few wayward passes, but for sheer commitment and honest endeavour, he's a manager's dream.
