It doesn’t look like Gerrard has a very good bond with the players. They really did not look that interested when he ran over congratulating them.

Terrible, just abjectly awful. Those 3 points will mean in they won't sack Gerrard so the rubbish football will continue. All the momentum and great feeling around the club has gone.

Gerrard out army you have the floor. You have taken over all of VT already.

Even when we win you'll trot out the same shite as always

There is no Gerrard army taking over VT. Just Villa fans who recognise that our manager is clueless and totally out of his depth. Seven points from seven games. We are miles off.

Stevie G is the greatest manager ever. John McGinn is the finest midfielder ever. Fantastic performance against the mighty Southampton who will surely be in the title mix.

I feel like you are upset we won.

Level on points with Newcastle. I assume they want their manager out for such a poor start to their season?

Dunno, have they been utter shit since the middle of last season as well?

Dendoncker made a massive difference. We went from a midfielder who loves the ball to one who doesn’t touch the ball literally.

I thought we had subbed him back off. I don't think he touched the ball
