First half we were smashed, could’ve been 3 or 4 down at half time and would’ve been most other days.

Second half, Arsenal dropped a gear, we had a bit more ball but never threatened. Another Luiz corner special though, then as usual Villa concede straight away.

Positives: At least we ran more today

Negatives: Same issues with tactics, cohesion, creativity and individual mistakes. Running around was more desperation than anything constructive.

We were very good in the second half. Shame we couldn't hold onto the point. Very good performance in energy levels and effort and some good build up play away to the in form team in the league.

As expected, mostly hoofball with no creative player in midfield. Confusion in defence. For the second game in a row, a half-hearted poke at a shot by Konsa causing a deflection, throwing Emi off, and causing a goal. Careless backpasses not even worthy of the lower divisions. No halftime adjustments despite getting played off the park. In sum, a disaster. Slippy looked defeated. The scoreline flatters us. Spared blushes by MOTM Martinez (goals not his fault) and Olympic Dougie. That’s all you need to know.

Saturday is going to be ugly.
