Watching a lot of the games since England's 8-0 performance, the gulf in quality is really noticeable. England looked on another level compared to some of the other teams on show.

I was watching the Sweden versus Switzerland and the standard is very poor - only outdone by the lousy commentary.

Sweden were absolutely dreadful considering they were playing against a Swiss side where half the squad had been out with a stomach virus the previous days.

I thought the Netherlands were pretty good against Portugal, their failure to defend a corner properly notwithstanding.

They didn't seem to miss Miedema too badly and their winner was an absolute cracker.

Think they had 5 other players missing with Covid

Eh?

It is extremely, visibly clear that the England women's team is massively more white, right now, than the men's team. It does seem to have become more white in recent times. Nobody is saying there needs to be a quota, people are wondering out loud why the women's team looks very obviously different from the men's team at this point in time.

interesting that during a recent broadcast it was actually picked by a BBC reporter and naturally the gammon have lost their shit on social media. alex scott is having to get involved too

of course anyone with more than 2 brain cells knows that no one is calling for a quota. they are just simply asking the question as to why so few non white females are playing at the top level and whether there's a reason for that.

Was a disgrace to give that as a penalty inthe first place. When are we going to get referees to have the **** balls to tell VAR their decisions stands.

Let's just get VAR gone. It's the feeling of getting robbed, getting away with one, the inconsistency that actually is want makes it what it is. This mechanical perfectionism has ripped the soul out of the game. Human error, the wrong decision and such made football exciting. Going home on a Saturday and bemoaning being robbed or saying you were lucky but you'll take it.

That's all been stripped due to VAR

Get rid let's get back the hurt and pain for the younger generation we felt and those before us.

That is football.

I mean if that’s what you want then VAR is perfect for it! 😬
