useless Posted July 1, 2022 Share Posted July 1, 2022 Performance is the fault of the team selection, asking for trouble playing a two man midfield of Chukwuemeka and Scott, both of whom are very attack minded players, needs a proper No.6 in there, not only to do the work of a DM, but to also allow Chukwuemeka to get forward, he's been England's best attacker so it's baffling that he's being asked to play so deep in the final. Would have Aaron Ramsey ahead of both Vale and Devine as well, Vale hasn't done anything all tournament, he's meant to be an attacker but just plays simple passes every time he gets the ball. I think if France had have reached the final England would have put out a more sensible team, but probably took liberties with the selection because it's Israel.
