You say it like it's so easy, great to say in hindsight. Every manager we've had in the premier league has surrendered leads to the big teams, we just don't have the mental capacity yet, we just don't believe.

We seemed to believe when Dean beat Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs et al.

Awful dog turd tactically naive thinking cost us today. Manager will point to individual mistakes on the field. But...

You say it like it's hard!

Ramsey is never a 10. Since the first sub we've gone from a 2 goal lead to a draw. Making your second change at that point is not rocket surgery.

Is hard to score Gerrard prob 10/10 for keeping the team shape, then sub onwards 0/10.

That's a good point...you have to wonder if inserting another DM ruined our shape...

Not gonna blame him overly.

But then I wouldn’t have gone to town blaming the last manager for such a collapse.

Only the individual will ultimately know whether they’d have been as consistent.

Loudest chants in the stadium in which the home team have just won the championship are our away fans singing 'Super Jackie Grealish'. Villa ftw.

Is it the city fans chanting it to wind us up?

Even if so. Tragic given they’ve just won the league.

when city win anything jt always feels like a non event to me. Shrug.

We collapsed but City knew from the start that they were playing with 12 men.

How City lay on the ground for more than 2 mins of added time and the ref added 30 seconds on!

Sorry but it's not the ref's fault that we completely fell apart at 0-2 up and have somehow lost 3-2.

Oliver's a word removed and I questioned his appointment to officiate this match in midweek due to his being a Toon fan, but any claims that we're not the authors of our own downfall today can't be serious.

Are you forgetting the Wolves collapse, which was 10 times worse than this one?

The weak mentality runs through the entire club. Hard to blame on any manager really.

If i remember correctly we were one of the top teams to surrender points from winning positions under Smith, it's been a problem with us for years.
