Lost that game due to the first sub and the fact Martinez, Konsa & Mings, time and again, slow down any chance of a counter attack. 

As for the ref, blow me,

A stop clock can’t come into football soon enough. Liverpool players just lying down for the last half hour and the ref did nothing about it. 

A good performance but another loss! 

Hands down the worst ref I’ve ever seen in the premier league.

Lots to take heart from - the subs were pro-active and we had some urgency moving forward.

Jota should have been sent off

Konsa at fault again

Liverpool are a class side but know how to waste time

Jon Moss is a disgrace

Too many silly mistakes. Poor finishing cost us.

Overall played quite well but a combination of a shocking ref, poor defending, and poor finishing has cost us anything.

 

Need to win our final 2 home games because our form at VP has been dire this season.

Yeah the ref was just absolutely woeful. We would destroy most teams outside top 6 if we played like today

I really hope after this summer window we are much stronger defensively. Attacking wise we have an abundance of talent.

Spirited performance. Deserved a point. Couple of dodgy personnel calls from the gaffer before and during the game but it's hard to stop a team as good and well oiled as this.

Gave them a good game, could have been more clinical, Dinge motm  anyone not thinking he’s a massive upgrade on Target is delusional, Luiz was excellent at 8 dropped of as a 6, massive positives to take from this game , deserved a point.

No issue with us performing like that. Much more encouraging than most of his games vs top 7. 

Chuk sub was a bit rogue and Emi was hard done by, but overall if we play like that I'm OK.

Though, if we can bring in a good DM, another CB and a more clinical striker (though that really should be Ings) we're not a million miles away from being in Europe contention

First half and moments late in the second it was a contest and we were able to hold our own with Liverpool. It was the moments between that they had clear control and where they punished us.

Between that we pretty much just kept giving the ball to Liverpool

We really need to make better decisions on the ball, because we undid all the good work with some awful choices
