the only gripe for me is the distances between the defence to midfield to the forwards is a little bit too much hence why Burnley were able to get a few chances in the first half.

Ollie and Ings clicked and Emi looked great. We looked very composed today. Chambers was great today and I felt the subs made sense - really great to see us pushing more and more for goals. McGinn is a different player when an 8 too.

Nod of the head to Watkins and Ings for whatever work they put in to be able to play better in the same team, that's a few games now where they've been a real two-pronged threat

We were a bit lucky not to concede in the first half, Burnley had 11 attempts then of which 5 on goal.

In the second, we just outplayed them.

Goddam you Villa. 

Had to take my Dad to Hospital for a 3.00 appointment. When I got him home I had to put up a light fitting for them then my Mum asked me to hang a mirror, all the while Villa are running riot.  The only bit I caught was getting in the car, put WM on and Burnley score

Villa are still a little way off looking like a good team but this was a very competent performance.

Buendia's assist for Ings was an exact clone of one earlier in the season, when Ings failed to convert.

Burnley obviously missed Chris Wood.

Villa always had a mistake in them and I was just glad it came so late in the game.

Buendia takes most of the accolades but no player scored less than a 7 for me.

Brilliant 3 points. Keeps us stable in the table (see what I did there?) and keeps the feel good factor brimming for players and fans alike. Annoying to concede at the death but in other football news at least the hornets in our side have gone and won’t take 6 points from us again for at least another year

90% of the PL look way off being a good team imo at this moment in time.
