The Fun Factory
Well yes it would have to be downgraded without European qualification. It would be a glorified football league trophy. The only teams that win it as the top 6 who qualify because of their league position. Its probably small heath the last team to actually get a spot from the final after Arsenal unforgivably lost to them. The only option I see is that they are allowed to play the U23 sides. ThunderPower_14
This is magnitudes better than having the club specific coefficient, and it's specifically better for us as we move forward. Edit: also, I could be wrong, but I think this could mean 7 PL teams qualify in one season, if English teams win the UCL and UEL? OutByEaster? Posted May 11, 2022 Author Moderator Share Posted May 11, 2022 We're moving to the point where the big six have almost found a way to force UEFA into allowing all six of them to play in the Champions league every year.
CVByrne
Has anyone been able to find out if the extra place is actually extra? So 8 teams would qualify for Europe from England 5 CL, 2 EL and 1 ECL? That's the biggest thing for us having top 8 qualified for Europe is huge for us. Nobody has answered that question as of yet
