Watching North Macedonia vs England, the gulf in quality is so vast one as to wonder the point of putting these two teams together. Like putting Man City against a children's Sunday League team.

61 scored 0 conceded

Watkins got booked and sent off for doing that once, lol

I can't remember another example, before or since, of a player getting booked for something like that Watkins incident. I was fuming at the time, and I've barely mellowed since, it's one of those calls that will get me hot under the collar every time I think about it

What was worse was the commentary around it from people suggesting finally refs are stamping play acting out the game, as Ollie simply wussed out a little from being kicked in the knee.

Wouldn't even make our top 5 bad decisions in the last 3 years back in the PL

Says it all

Don't worry though, they're doing something about stopping the clock. Dealing with the big issues.
