4 goals , decent referee performance and Watkins passed the ball to Ings … pretty much the perfect game , though truth be told we should have had 6 or 7 today .

2 weeks ago I looked at the fixtures and had a small fear we could be relegated , those fears now look to be gone and we just need to keep bedding the players into this system and tweak a few players for next season.

one thing that seems apparent is that team shape looks better with one of Coutinho and Buendia and not both , that’s not the fault of either of them , just seems to be something else we need to look at going forward

I suppose you have to give MOTM to Coutinho because he was the most skilled player on the pitch today. But who didn’t have a good game today?

Chambers with the pass of the day plus a few nice plays in back…

Ings with a goal and two assists…

Watkins scored and played the best he has all season and even had a couple nice interventions in defence…

Cash, who’s had trouble with the last ball most of the season, added an assist to his goal from last week…

Dougie scored…

Emi with a brilliant save in the second half to keep the clean sheet…

Young filled in well enough, much better than the disaster a few games back…

Mings didn’t set a foot wrong…
