Aye marginally offside and only because the pass was delayed delayed delayed.

Clueless.

He was the same slating his penalty in the shootout yet said nothing about Jorginho’s skip penalty.

Bringing on Kepa made no sense. All he was doing was picking a side and diving to it. Why is that deemed better than Mendy picking a side and diving towards it?

If Kepa’s tactic was waiting for the ball to be kicked, then reacting and trying to get it then fair enough, but he was just randomly diving to a side.

This is elite level football and they make such amateurish decisions.

I thought it was mind games for the Liverpool players rather than Chelsea, the problem is they're all too experienced / good to get jittery just because the penalty specialist came on

I think apart from the CB who went about 9th he never got near any of them

Also thought werner going about 8th for Chelsea spoke volumes about where he is right now

“Penalty specialist” shouldn’t really be a thing if he’s just guessing a side. He conceded 11 in a row.

Its like being a specialist at heads or tails, or rock, paper scissors.

He’s just had a good run.

He has saved one penalty in 3 seasons in play vs a guy from Plymouth. Not even sure how he can be considered a specialist

If I were a keeper I’d take my chances with waiting and going towards the ball.
It puts much more pressure on the taker to hit it hard and into the corners.

You could see he was going to miss all day long too. Hands on hips waiting to take it, no conviction in the run up, no surprise he ballooned it over.

£75M keeper showed up by the academy graduate from Liverpool.

Given Chelski’s ownership I was happy to see them lose yesterday, even though I also despise Liverpool.
