Actually a great result IMO. Very difficult to play Everton under Ferguson. It’s basically like playing an amalgamation of Stoke under Pulis and Blackburn under Alardyce. They made every single thing a fight.

Everton came to kick, elbow, throw bottles, trip, push, were allowed to by the referee and we’ve come out of it unscathed with a win. It was a good performance and the defending of the area by all the defence was fantastic.

Not great second half, but a hard earned 3 away points in the bag in the end.

We've got alot of work to do still, but hopefully they take some confidence from holding on.

Games like this are where a dominant midfielder can make a difference for you.
