I love Buendia...  Gives everything he has for the shirt every game.  He ran himself into the ground today.

JJ - Horrible first half, but completely redeemed himself in the 2nd.  Showed exactly why he should be in the team, but needs to put in the effort especially when things aren't going well for the team.  

Digne - Huge huge huge upgrade on Targett...  His spacing on the pitch was instrumental in both goals.  Will be a fan favorite soon.

Coutinho is pure class... Can't wait for him to get up to full fitness and start.  He completely changed the game when he came on.  Assist and a goal in his first 10 minutes on the pitch.  

 

Lots to work on, but the second half shows our potential.  UTV!!!

Thankfully we took something from the game but for much of it we were sloppy, defensively poor and ineffectual going forward.

 

Coutinho changed the game when he came on and has to start the next game.

Disappointed to draw that, in the end. If only we could string two decent halves together. 

Buendia was absolutely unreal. His combination with Coutinho and Chukwuemeka looks really promising. Hopefully see that from the start next game.

We have to see the end of the Ings/Watkins ineffective partnership. It’s got to be Watkins OR Ings and have Phil and Emi either side. 

This point should give the lads a boost at least. They deserved at least a point, and got it.

Let's not let the comeback detract from the fact that was a 2/10 perfromance from Watkins. He can't keep starting.

Phenomenal comeback. Ramsey MOTM but Buendia close behind. We once again dominated for large portions of the game and it's notable that both the goals we conceded were stupid mistakes, whereas the goals we scored we were worked.

Watkins v Ings.  They should never play together.  it never has worked.  I don't see that it ever will.  I would prefer Watkins over Ings, but that's a preference of style.  those who prefer track record understandably prefer Ings.  I would rather play Archer alone or Archer with either of them, that play them both together.  It's a complete disaster.

I think people were way underestimating Man Utd before the game, they were only two wins off the top four and with two games in hand, and although there bad form is talked about they'd still won three of their last five before today so were in better form than us, they aren't as good at the moment as they'd like, but are still going to be favorites coming up against a midtable team, and on their day capable of beating anyone.

A draw against them is a good result in of itself, even more so for us at the moment to end the run of losses we were on, and to comeback from two goals down with less than fifteen minutes to go is even better, almost feels like a win.

Good to see Coutinho make a good start to his Villa career.

Abject for the first 30 minutes. We seem to start games slowly and we need to get a grip on that.

Buendia was excellent and anyone not voting for him as MotM is wrong 

Need to make a decision, either Ings or Watkins, not both.
