I'm lost for words. They wanted to rule that goal out so they did. Supposed to be used for clear and obvious, Oliver didn't think it was a foul in real time, cavani is never getting to that ball it's an absolute **** disgrace of officiating yet again. I hate var, I hate these officials constantly helping the top 6 clubs. **** off

Yes we should've scored several and missed lots of chance but we did score one fairly only to have it wrongly disallowed, so we're not entirely to blame.

I dont like VAR at all, just let it go back to mistakes are mistakes etc. Its good in theory but FFS the opportunity for bias is ridiculous, the clowns in the VAR room can just decide what is and isnt a foul and basically decide the fate of games with 50, 50 calls being reviewed on a pick and choose basis. Feels like you literally have to get through about 10 different phases of immaculate play to score a goal at old trafford and the like these days. Any whisker or hint of anything and they dissalow or give things to the big 6. Nothing about it is good for the game the way they run it at the moment.

We were the better team, no question. Lots of sloppiness from both teams. We just couldn't capitalise. Thought Cash was terrible. Buendia his usual self, absolutely brilliant and absolutely awful. Watkins & Ings worked hard.

The game's gone though. It's beyond surreal how they have ruled out that first goal.

Frustrating.

We only really played well in patches whilst being relatively comfortable for most of the game. Hard to pick a man of the match as no one really excelled.

Another game we could easily have won (as per Brentford).
