villan4life04
If the squad don't change after Vassell is sold i reckon around 10th-12th lower with loads of injuries.
Afros
I think we could struggle this season, our recruiting has hardly set the house on fire, and we've now sold a player who most agree did make the side look better when he came back from injury, I wouldn't be suprised to see us down in 15th... WHY THE **** DO WE HAVE TO MAKE OURSELVES LOOK A LAUGHING STOCK IN FRONT OF THE SCUM! Fully, I've had enough of us letting Birmingham pull away from us, I've had enough of their fans rubbing our clubs lack of direction into us already, and I live in Australia! Our board is a joke, and our club is run like a Sunday League side, and there is nothing we can do, a once proud club is now a joke, a laughing stock, and we all know who to blame... The_Rev
Im wondering if the sale of Vassell will mean that people take a more pesimistic look at the season ahead, and revise their opinions of where we are going to finish? I mean, im starting to doubt that we can win the league by more than, say, ten points at the minute* *admittely, im a biased ****.

Jez
Think spurs will be the surprise package this season. Defoe second only to henry all the young players workin together
BOF Posted July 25, 2005 Moderator Share Posted July 25, 2005 Yeah Jez, although it wont be much of a surprise. Most people have Spurs as a danger team next year. I think Everton will be a surprise (in a bad way) and Blackburn will be the team that improves on where most people think they will finish. BOF Posted July 25, 2005 Moderator Share Posted July 25, 2005 Rich, I just think that with Fulham already losing Cole and possibly losing Boa Morte before the kick off, they will do well to stay up. They have no-one of note up front. At this rate Malbranque will be a striker for them. With us clearly neither going down or winning anything, I'll probably be more interested in WBA's fight to stay up, which I hope they win with ease. And if they were to finish above the noses ? Well wouldn't that be sweet.

Jon
10th - 14th for me. Laursen will be lucky to play more than a handful of consecutove games this season. DV has gone. all i can say is that "the kids" (Moore and Gazza Cahill) had better be bloody good this season. They'll need to be
Sid
Polls like this can fluctuate day by day. On a day where our best/2nd best defender looks like missing the start of the season and we sell a player which leaves us with 3 strikers....people are likely to be looking bottom half. If we sign Baros, then all of a sudden people will want to be voting that we finish in the top half.
