Red Sox get Trevor Story for 6/140 to play second base, presumably.

I’m not sure I like that deal long term, but short term it makes the Sox better.

The Yankees could very plausibly finish 4th in the AL East, with both TB, TOR and BOS building solid cases to be rated higher than NYY. BAL should finish a distant 5th.

Am I hearing this right, that Judge (or anyone else) can't play in NYC if not vaccinated?

It might be an issue. Didn’t take him for a jack@ss, tbh.

This would be the same situation that's taken place with Kyrie Irving in the NBA right? He's only been able to play road games (outside of NY) all season.

I actually don’t agree with these bans for unvaccinated players, but if Aaron Judge is an anti-vaxxer moron, that’s disappointing in itself and such lack of leadership and wisdom from the face of the franchise is a massive dent in his rep.

That Dodgers lineup is unbelievable.

Isn’t it. Impossible to see past them for a WS, at least on paper.

But as good as LAD lineup is, Bellinger is still deep in the muck. 14 strikeouts in 19 spring training at bats. 😲

And they just sent AJ Pollock to Chicago for (a declining?) Craig Kimbrel.

Padres get Manea from Oakland for prospects.

With that team, it's surprising they didn't lock down Jansen to an extension.

Yeah, his one year deal in Atlanta is identical to what the Dodgers will be paying Kimbrel according to a quick google search (haven’t checked if CWS are eating part of Kimbrel’s wages, mind.)
