Maupay has missed some good chances, but Brighton are poor in the final third in general not just in front of goal, lack conviction and usually the final ball is poor and that's if the final ball even comes, often they over play it.

I think there's a difference between good football and exciting football, though. I reckon one day Potter could end up rocking up at a club like City and play the way they do, and win things. His teams play a similar style, just on a much more restricted budget. I think it's bloody tedious the way City play, but it wins things.

The fans won't like it, but he's not wrong though is he? They're 8th in the Premier League. Their best ever finish was 13th, 40 years ago. 

They are punching well above their weight.
