Enjoyed that.  The lads played with a bit more urgency without running round like headless chickens, there's clearly work to do but you can see us being a bit more focussed on hitting those transitions.   Brighton had all the ball but we seemed happy to let them roll it around because they didn't really throw much at us we couldn't deal with.   Substitutes really worked and it shows the value of not conceding cheaply or letting sides just run through the middle.   Really liked Cash.  Felt a bit for Buendia, it's just not happening right now but the effort is there and I think he'll come good.    Confidence will be up and we've got to fancy our chances against Palace.

Considering the terrible run we were on Steven has done very well in a few days.

The difference in this team when we’ve got some confidence in us is unreal. We could have won that three or four nil in the end.

Kept a clean sheet, plenty of players trying to get out of their bad habits on the pitch, took our chances when they eventually came, reasons for optimism. We still need to continue improving.
