What do you actually do between 1 and 3:30 on a Friday when you finish work. For me the answer was "Jack All" However, the fact that you engineers get overtime for working up to 3:30 on a friday now anyway clouds the matter somewhat, as that's worth more. With 1 income and a wife and 2 young children to support money is very important. My car is also on its last legs so I'll need to sort that before the end of the year.
