AVTuco Posted October 16, 2021 VT Supporter Share Posted October 16, 2021 I freaking hate international football during the season. Should only be played in the summer.
a m ole
Yeah, that there’s 2 Villa youth games scheduled on the same day that England are also playing a youth game is an absolute joke, not to mention that it’s a Premier League Saturday when our seniors are playing. Off the back of an international break last week before an international break in 2 weeks. Absolute mess.

Adam2003
Clean sheet for Emi in a 1-0 win over Uruguay. Cash debut for Poland, on as a sub in an easy win over Andorra. Says Lewandowski “no Ollie Watkins”.

useless
Iroegbunam, Carney Chukwuemeka, and Aaron Ramsey all started in central midfield for England U19s in their must win game against Portugal this evening. Chukwuemeka and Ramsey have been with this group from an early age and both have captained the team, but Iroegbunam is new, so good to see that on his first call-up he's first choice in such an important game. England winning 2-0 at the moment.

ferguson1
To think where we were only three or four years ago to where we are now, we could see at least seven or eight first team players going to the World Cup later this year: Martinez, Cash, Mings, Digne, Luiz, McGinn, Coutinho, Watkins, all looking likely. Then Buendia and J Ramsey might just sneak in as well. Absolutely incredible turnaround in our squad over the last few seasons. We may even sign one or two players in the summer that’ll be going to the World Cup as well. Just brilliant.
