2021 Ryder Cup

The 43rd Ryder Cup Matches will be held in the United States on September 24 to 26, 2021, on the Straits course at Whistling Straits, Haven, Wisconsin. Team Europe is the holder of the Ryder Cup after its 17½–10½ victory over Team USA in 2018 at Le Golf National.

Added spice, team mates Brooks Koepka and Bryce DeChambeau hate each other with a passion and will most likely be kept apart (hopefully not).

Team USA enters this team event as the favorites to regain the title, going off as 8/15 favs.,  Europe 2/1.

Whistling Straights is arguably the best new golf course in the world and is an outstanding track that will test all players to the limit.

Should be good viewing.

How to Read American Odds

American odds are centered around winning or wagering $100 on a given bet.

If You’re Betting a Favorite: The odds for favorites will have a minus (-) sign in front, and indicate the money you need to risk to win $100.

So if you’re betting on the Yankees at -130, you need to risk $130 and will win $100 if New York wins the game (plus your original $130 back).

If You’re Betting an Underdog: The odds for underdogs will have a plus (+) sign in front, and indicate the money you’ll win for every $100 risked.

So if you’re betting the Red Sox at +110, you’ll risk $100 and will win $110 if Boston wins the game (plus your original $100 back).

Of course, you don’t always want to bet $100. American odds can scale up or down based on your bet size.

It might be easier to think in terms of dollars instead of $100’s. So for every $1.30 risked on the Yankees in this game, you’d win $1. For every $1 risked on the Red Sox, you’d win $1.10.

Sergio Garcia has equalled Nick Faldo's record for matches won at the Ryder Cup.

23 matches won: Sir Nick Faldo & Sergio Garcia
22 matches won: Arnold Palmer
21 matches won: Bernhard Langer
The Spaniard has won 26½ points in total. Not bad eh.

It's looking ominous pal, I think we might well have our arses handed to us this time around. We normally need a 4 point lead going in to the singles.

Massive afternoon coming up

Bryson DeChambeau just hit a 417 yard drive. 4 1 7 yards.

Left with a 70 yard half swing wedge to set up a yard long put for eagle on the par 5 fifth.

Filthy.

Watched a clip of it. Turned it off as soon as I heard the whooping.
